Error message on vent (Read 103 times)

Stew12 Colonel Offline YEEHAW!!! Posts: 2064 Naples, Florida Gender:	Error message on vent Jul 24^th, 2010, 12:14pm My PC recently crashed, after some tinkering, I got it up and running again. But now, when I sign on to vent, I get this error message: and it appears that people can't hear me when I press the PTT button. Anybody know what this error message means, or how to fix it?

Posts: 4337 Greenville, South Carolina Gender:	Re: Error message on vent Reply #2 - Jul 24^th, 2010, 12:41pm This is actually a common error for me when I forget to replug in my headset. I have ventrillo setup to only use my tritton headset, so if it's not plugged in, vent has no audio device to use and throws out an error.

I had it plugged in, but I tried another port. Then I got a different error message. Turns out I had to change my output from "default device" to "Logitech headset". Anyway, it seems to be working now. Thanks for the help.
